ReSound Nexia CROS Transmitter MicroRIE

The ReSound Nexia MicroRIE CROS Transmitter is part of the ReSound Nexia hearing platform and is specially developed for users who have very little or no hearing in one ear. The transmitter captures sounds from the weaker-hearing side and sends them wirelessly to a compatible ReSound Nexia hearing aid worn on the better ear. This improves sound awareness, conversation understanding, and listening comfort in daily environments. The device uses the same compact MicroRIE design as Nexia hearing aids, making both devices appear identical for a discreet and balanced appearance. ReSound states that it is among the industry’s smallest wireless RIE CROS systems.
